Recipes for busy people
My ambition is to inspire you to eat a healthy diet and at the same time make it easy and not take too long, allowing more time for the things you love to do.
My goal is to encourage you to cook at home, sharing the experience with your family. Start teaching your children at an early age about healthy food and cooking. They will thank you in years to come and they in turn can pass it on to their loved ones.
My path to green living
After owning a restaurant and working as the chef I started to develop back problems, which led to the sale of our restaurant. I started to research and I spent days and weeks pouring over all sorts of information regarding back pain and different diets. In the meantime I started seeing a chiropractor on a weekly basis. After a month of treatments I was not any better so I decided to start a fast to detox my system to minimise any inflammation. Thereafter, I began my new diet which is the one I am following to this day. I could not believe the difference after just 3 days of fasting, and the following diet. I felt so rejuvenated and I could manage to put socks, shoes and pants on again without too much trouble at all.
What I experienced became a new way of life for me, and I now have the freedom to live a life without too much pain again. Every morning I wake up with such gratitude, and I know I am one of the lucky ones. At the same time I found my why to life, and something that I can use to share and hopefully help others with.
My why and my goal
I know that there are so many before me and that there will be so many after me, that will experience something similar. I feel that there is a better way to living without the traditional medicines and pain killers. My belief is that it starts with what you put into your mouth, and we are living a much too indulgent lifestyle at present. Just look at the obesity problems around the world and you can see so much suffering with pain, diabetes and heart problems. We need to do something about it, and it starts with what we feed ourselves and then in turn our children.
My goal is to show people that you can change your ways one step at a time and it does not mean that you have to lead a life where you feel like you are missing out on anything. In fact after some time, you will most likely feel like you should have made the change years ago, and you will be as inspired as I was when I changed my ways.
